A fast loading website means a better visitor experience equals more sales!
Google uses page speed as an important SEO rankings factor in 2020 because search engine visitors expect the websites Google serves them are fast loading on mobile devices.
What’s more a slow loading webpage will result in search engine visitors bouncing back to Google to look for a faster loading alternative or worse still (for Google) giving up completely.
Multiple tests have shown users start to close a webpage if it takes more than 3 seconds to load and sadly many websites take over 10 seconds to load!
Google has provided webmasters the Lighthouse tool to amongst other things test the loading time of a webpage.
