Multiple threads related to the Display Widgets plugin were (and still are) closed and some of my replies were deleted!
The Display Widgets Plugin developer took this as some sort of win and gloated, I responded (see screenshot).
About 4-5 days later my forum posts were unfairly moderated for that response. I’m shocked that one response (that was my ONLY response AFTER the moderator warning) was enough to be moderated, seriously!!!

Hi, I’m a user and big fan of your Display Widgets SEO plus plugin. In fact, I was planning on reaching out to have it customized a bit to include user role, or woocommerce membership… however it now seems you will stop supporting it?
As for the moderation issue, here’s a great read from Wordfence about it… as a user of a similar plugin I was following it closely.

Sooooo… what should I do now? Stop using Display Widgets SEO plus and find another solution?
I assume you’ve seen the other Wordfence article regarding the Display Widgets Plugin v2.6.* Malicious Code?
I’m mentioned in the article, three of the four times the plugin was removed from the repository are due to my emails to the WordPress plugin team (sent the WP plugin team over a dozen emails about the new developer!).
The new Display Widget plugin developer (Mason Soiza : @displaywidget user on the WordPress forum) really annoyed me. Though I’m sure Mason Soiza doesn’t like me too much, he had a plugin (he paid $15,000 for) with hacking code slowly being installed on 200,000+ WordPress sites and I stopped him three times and now Wordfence has publicly outed him which could result in criminal charges: will be interesting to see if the police contact me for info.
Anyway, I’ve just released an upgraded version of the Display Widgets plugin (v4.0.0) to replace the plugin (v2.6) that included hacking code (added by Mason Soiza).
The Display Widgets plugin v4.0.0 is a cut down version of the Display Widgets SEO Plus Plugin (v3.0.0), includes all the features except:
Paged Options – ability to show/hide widgets on Page 1 of an archive or pages 2.3.4…
Advanced BuddyPress option – includes ability to show/hide on all BuddyPress (one option), doesn’t include all the other BuddyPress widget logic options (see below).
Advanced bbPress option – includes ability to show/hide on all bbPress (one option), doesn’t include all the other bbPress widget logic options (see below).
BuddyPress Plugin Conditional Widget Logic Functions Missing from Display Widgets plugin v4.0.0
* BuddyPress Members Directory
* BuddyPress User Pages
* BuddyPress Activity Streams Directory
* BuddyPress Activity Streams Item
* BuddyPress Groups Directory
* BuddyPress Group
* BuddyPress Group Forum
* BuddyPress Group Forum Topic
* BuddyPress Registration Page

* bbPress Category Forum
* bbPress Forum
* bbPress Forum Topic
* bbPress Topic Tag
I plan to create a premium version called Display Widgets Plus (v4.0.0) which will be Display Widgets SEO Plus Plugin (v3.0.0) with new features: most likely Woocommerce widget logic options.
Note: I’m dropping SEO in the name because users generally don’t understand the concept of silo SEO, these features are perfect for building silo SEO based navigation structures in WordPress, but if users don’t get it…
Both the free Display Widgets plugin v4.0.0 (already released) and the Premium Display Widgets Plus v4.0.0 (working on it now) will both be supported on the Display Widgets Plus WordPress Plugin Page.
So support for the features within the Display Widgets SEO Plus Plugin will be supported/extended, just not on the WordPress Plugin Repository and the extended features for BuddyPress/bbPress and any other advanced widget logic options will be a premium feature.
