This is the before screenshot, before attempting to gain a local Google Map Listing for the “Digital Marketing Agency” Google SERP.

You can see in the screenshot the SEO Gold site isn’t listed in the Google Local Maps Results, also not ranked top 50 in the Google organic search results. This is expected, a website can’t ranking in Google for search phrases they haven’t targeted.

Let’s see what happens after I review a few competitors ranked high for Skegness local “Digital Marketing Agency” Google SERP results.

From an SEO perspective this could be embarrassing, I’m using content like this to try to rank locally for these semi-competitive SERPs. If the local SEO test fails, it’s a public failure: no pressure then :-)
