Black Hat SEO Hidden Links on High Quality Websites!

While checking the backlinks of a highly ranked website (was number one in Google for the Free Recipes SERP) I discovered something really interesting.

I assumed I’d find some directories, reciprocal links and related websites that I could approach for links to my recipe website. Was very surprised to find black hat hidden text links from quality high PR sites like these-

imara.csail.mit.edu PR8
ahead.org PR6
gearthblog.com PR7
and many, many more, screenshot above

Which explained the PR7 homepage and the Google “Free Recipe” SERP.
